JCUSA Sport Calling on Players for Rugby League 9s

This year, UniSport Australia are organising a rugby league 9's competition held in Sydney from 18-19 October.  

This competition will be run in conjunction with the Rugby League World Cup 9s. 

JCU are looking at the possibility of sending a men's side down to compete in the competition.

Here are some more details:

When is the event?  The competition will be held from 18-19 of October.  Accommodation would be booked from the 17th with check out on the 20th. 

Where will it be played?  The competition will be played at NSWRL Centre of Excellence at Olympic Park in Sydney however UniSport are looking to host the Grand Final at the newly built Bankwest Stadium in Parramatta, acting as the curtain raiser to the World Cup 9’s event. 

What would be the cost to compete?  Students will be required to pay $100 to the Student Association which will cover the cost of the accommodation as well as the playing shorts (which you will get to keep).  Students will also be required to pay for their own flights (approximately $500).  You will also be required to pay for your own public transport.
