Student and Club Benefits

Student and Club Benefits

JCUSA works with businesses, community organisations and other partners to find opportunities that may benefit JCU students and affiliated Clubs and Societies.

These opportunities may include student discounts, ticket giveaways, event support, venue arrangements, product offers and other practical benefits.

Offers can change, expire or be subject to eligibility requirements. Please check the conditions and availability before making a purchase, booking an event or relying on an offer.

Current partnerships and opportunities

CCEP vending partnership

JCUSA works with Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) through the vending machines located at approved JCU sites.

The partnership provides opportunities to improve the vending experience and support student activities. This may include product offers, VendSwift deals, ticket giveaways, free beverages at selected events and other student opportunities announced from time to time.

Australian Venue Co. club bookings

JCUSA-affiliated Clubs and Societies may be able to access group booking arrangements at selected Australian Venue Co. venues in Townsville, Cairns and Mackay.

Offers and conditions vary by venue and may change over time. Clubs should check the current arrangements directly with the venue before making plans.

Future student deals and opportunities

JCUSA is continuing to look for partnerships, discounts and opportunities that are useful and accessible to students.

New opportunities will be added to this section when they are confirmed. Some offers may only be available for a limited period, at a particular campus or to a particular group of students.

Know about an opportunity for students?
Students and Clubs and Societies often hear about useful offers, local businesses and community opportunities before we do.

If you know about a discount, partnership, venue, event or other opportunity that may benefit JCU students, please contact JCUSA and share the details with us.

Sharing an idea does not guarantee that JCUSA can promote it or enter into an arrangement. However, we are happy to consider opportunities that are relevant, genuine and likely to provide a meaningful benefit to students.

Interested in working with JCUSA?
JCUSA welcomes enquiries from businesses, community organisations and other groups interested in working with JCU students.

This may include:

  • Student discounts or special offers;
  • Support for student events and activities;
  • Opportunities for affiliated Clubs and Societies;
  • Ticket or product giveaways;
  • Training, development or volunteering opportunities;
  • Community partnerships;
  • Other ideas that may benefit JCU students.

Organisations interested in working with JCUSA can contact us with a short explanation of the proposed opportunity, who it would benefit and any relevant conditions.

Submitting a proposal does not guarantee promotion, endorsement or a formal partnership. JCUSA may need to consider student benefit, accessibility, safety, reputation, available resources and any approval requirements before proceeding.

Other JCU student benefits

JCU also maintains its own list of student discounts and benefits, including offers relating to food, entertainment, accommodation, transport, stationery and other services.

Some offers on external benefits pages may have changed or expired. Students should confirm the current price, eligibility requirements and conditions directly with the provider before relying on an offer.

Students and Clubs and Societies should check the provider’s current terms, prices, availability, suitability and cancellation arrangements before making a booking or purchase.

Questions or complaints about a product or service should normally be directed to the relevant provider. JCUSA may assist with feedback about a partnership or help identify the appropriate contact where possible.
