Townsville
The Saints Cricket Club is the Affiliated Cricket Club of JCUSA and compete in the Townsville Cricket Inc. Senior Competition (Mixed). Saints welcomes players of all skills whether they are studying or not. The Clubhouse and Cricket Nets are located at JCU Oval, and training takes place on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons. There are currently four senior teams competing (3 in C Grade, 1 in B Grade) and home games are played on Sundays at JCU Oval.

Cairns
There is currently no cricket club existing on the Cairns Campus. If you are interested in helping to start a club up on campus, please email [email protected] as well as [email protected].

Townsville
There are currently no programs on the Townsville Campus that include cricket. We are continuing to grow sport and recreation on the Townsville Campus with plans to include cricket.
Cairns
Uni v Navy
Starting in 2021, the Cairns based JCU Students competed against the Navy in a variety of sports in a one day effort in an effort to strengthen the bonds between the University and Navy communities. The event is back in 2022 which, features mixed indoor cricket at the Cairns Indoor Sports Centre.
The event date is Wednesday August 2.

JCU Representation
Each year JCU sends teams to compete at UniSport Nationals. The UniSport Nationals provide an opportunity for students at 43 member universities from across Australia (including JCU) to compete head to head in a number of national standard sporting competitions. UniSport Nationals is the largest multi-sporting event held in Australia every year with its flagship event Nationals Div 1 and Div 2 hosting up to 10,000 students each year.
This year the T20 Cricket event will be held as a standalone event in Sunshine Coast 8 - 12 July. If you are interested in competing in the T20 Cricket event, click on the following link HERE and register your interest today.
