Facilities
The Townsville Campus has two sand courts to play tennis. These courts are free to use for Student Association + (SA+) members throughout the semester from 6am-6pm Monday – Friday. For casual bookings, call the JCUSA Fitness Centre on 07 4781 5930.
Cairns
There are currently no programs on the Cairns Campus that include tennis. We are continuing to grow sport and recreation on the Cairns Campus with plans to include tennis.

JCU Representation
Each year JCU sends teams to compete at UniSport Nationals. The UniSport Nationals provide an opportunity for students at 43 member universities from across Australia (including JCU) to compete head to head in a number of national standard sporting competitions. UniSport Nationals is the largest multi-sporting event held in Australia every year with its flagship event Nationals Div 1 and Div 2 hosting up to 10,000 students each year.
This year the tennis event will be held from September 7 - 13 in Canberra. If you are interested in competing in the tennis event, click on the following link HERE and register your interest today.
