There are currently no programs on the Townsville Campus that include futsal. We are continuing to grow sport and recreation on the Townsville Campus with plans to include futsal.
Cairns
Uni v Navy
Starting in 2021, the Cairns based JCU Students competed against the Navy in a variety of sports in a one day effort in an effort to strengthen the bonds between the University and Navy communities. The event is back in 2022 which, features mixed indoor soccer at the Cairns Indoor Sports Centre.
The event date is Wednesday August 2.

JCU Representation
Each year JCU sends teams to compete at UniSport Nationals. The UniSport Nationals provide an opportunity for students at 43 member universities from across Australia (including JCU) to compete head to head in a number of national standard sporting competitions. UniSport Nationals is the largest multi-sporting event held in Australia every year with its flagship event Nationals Div 1 and Div 2 hosting up to 10,000 students each year.
