Winna Shield
Winna Shield is a year long inter-college sporting competition in Townsville for JCU residential college students. It comprises of 9 sports; and is the ultimate case for bragging rights on campus! Cross Country is one of 9 sports held during the Winna Shield calendar with the event.
The Cross Country event will be held on Saturday August 3.

Cairns
Gunyarra Cup
The Gunyarra Cup is a year long inter-college sporting competition in Cairns for JCU residential college students. It comprises of 5 sports; and is the ultimate case for bragging rights on campus! Cross Country is one of 5 sports held during the Gunyarra Cup calendar with the event.
The Cross Country event will be held on Saturday April 29.

JCU Representation
Each year JCU sends teams to compete at UniSport Nationals. The UniSport Nationals provide an opportunity for students at 43 member universities from across Australia (including JCU) to compete head to head in a number of national standard sporting competitions. UniSport Nationals is the largest multi-sporting event held in Australia every year with its flagship event Nationals Div 1 and Div 2 hosting up to 10,000 students each year.
UniSport Australia hosts the Nationals Distance Running event which will be held in Sydney September 15. For more information in regards to the event, click on the following link HERE
