Cairns Interfaculty Sport

Interfaculty Sport is a FREE sports program where students are eligible to play to represent their enrolled faculty. 

Interfaculty Sport in Cairns is a free program, which consists of 5 sports played on a one day event between 4 faculty teams.

The program was introduced in 2022 with the intention of growing sport on the Cairns Campus as well as creating friendly rivalry amongst faculties.

Date

This semester’s Interfaculty Sport event will be played on Saturday August 13 on the JCU Campus from 9am-6pm. 

Sports played

  • Basketball
  • Netball
  • Spikeball
  • 6-a-side Soccer
  • Touch Football

Cost

Thanks to the UniSport Australia MyWay Program, this program is free for all students to play.  This is to encourage more students to participate in this sporting competition and to make sports more accessible to all students.
