Australian Venue Co. Club Bookings

Current as of September 2026

JCUSA is working with Australian Venue Co. to provide booking opportunities for currently affiliated JCUSA Clubs and Societies.

Selected venues in Townsville, Cairns and Mackay may offer reduced booking requirements, no minimum spend or other arrangements for eligible club activities.

Offers and conditions vary between venues and may change. Clubs must confirm availability, deposits, minimum spends, booking conditions and any other requirements directly with the venue before making plans.

Who can access these offers?

These arrangements are available to Clubs and Societies that are currently affiliated with JCUSA.

JCUSA affiliation is free. If your club is not currently affiliated, or if you are unsure about its status, please visit the Clubs and Societies section before requesting a booking.

Being affiliated does not guarantee that a venue will be available or accept a particular booking.

How to request a booking

Before making a request, clubs should prepare:

  • The name of the affiliated Club or Society;
  • The preferred venue and date;
  • The expected number of guests;
  • The type of activity being planned;
  • Any room, catering or accessibility requirements;
  • The contact details of the club executive organising the activity.

Contact Australian Venue Co. at [email protected], explain that you are booking on behalf of a currently affiliated JCUSA Club or Society, and provide your requirements and expected guest numbers.

Please confirm the current offer and all conditions before advertising the event or making commitments on behalf of your club.

Club responsibilities still apply
A venue arrangement does not replace JCUSA’s event approval, risk assessment, financial or grant requirements.

Clubs remain responsible for:

  • Obtaining any required event approval;
  • Completing appropriate risk assessments;
    Following JCUSA policies and procedures;
  • Checking whether the activity is covered by relevant insurance;
  • Meeting the venue’s booking and conduct requirements;
  • Ensuring that spending complies with any relevant funding conditions;
  • Making responsible arrangements for attendees.

The existence of a venue offer does not mean that the event or its expenses are automatically eligible for JCUSA or SSAF funding.

Conditions and availability

Venue availability, capacities, deposits and minimum-spend arrangements may change. Capacity may also depend on the room layout, type of event and the venue’s current requirements.

JCUSA does not control the venue’s booking decisions, service, prices, cancellation terms or availability. Any booking agreement is made directly between the club and the venue.

If your club becomes aware that an offer has changed or is no longer available, please let JCUSA know so that we can update this page.
