Conditions of Entry
You must not congregate at the entry point at the start or end of your visit.
Prior to commencing your session you will be required to undertake a COVID-19 Induction (form below).
You are to prepare for sessions/work outs/classes prior to arrival at the location, e.g. warm ups, strapping etc.
No entry to this facility without a clean, freshly laundered towel (minimum size of 69cm x 137cm). No sharing of towels is permitted, everyone must have their own towel for hygiene reasons.
You may be asked to leave the premises once you have completed your session, work out or class.
Cash less payment is preferred.
Do not enter this facility if you have been unwell in the last 2 weeks with fever, cough, sore throat, fatigue or shortness of breath;
Entry will be refused to any person who presents and is known in the last 14 days to have (or had) symptoms, contact with a known/suspected case, or be at high risk;
JCUSA and its nominees have the right to refuse entry and anyone with these symptoms in the last 14 days to have (or had) symptoms, contact with a known/suspected case, or be at high risk must leave the premises. This also includes any members who are observed to be reasonably displaying symptoms (e.g. persistent coughing) of COVID-19;
Practice good hand and respiratory hygiene;
You must sanitise your hands priority to entry;
You must bring your own drink bottle/s clearly labelled
No sharing of drink bottles is permitted; and
Members who are vulnerable to a serious COVID-19 infection make the decision to attend the gym at their own risk.
Physical distancing of 1.5 metres must be maintained;
No more than 1 person per 4m²;
No physical greetings such as handshakes, high fives, hugs and kisses; and
Wipe down equipment prior to and post use with the supplied product/s; and
Use a clean towel for each session or class and consider bringing extra towels to lay on equipment benches and seats, as long as they will not cause any safety risks.
You must scan in and not stay for longer than 2 hours;
Digital and/or paper based record will be kept for the purpose of contact tracing; including name, phone number or email address and date regardless if the member has downloaded the COVIDSafe app; and
If requested, government authorities will be provided with access to any digital or manual records of attendance for the purpose of contact-tracing for a confirmed or suspected cases of COVID-19.
COVID-19 Symptoms can include:
Most common symptoms: fever, dry cough and tiredness;
Less common symptoms: aches and pains, sore throat, diarrhoea, conjunctivitis, headache, loss of taste or smell, a rash on skin, or discolouration of fingers or toes; and
Serious symptoms: difficulty breathing or shortness of breath, chest pain or pressure loss of speech or movement.
JCUSA has the right to refuse service and entry and insists that anyone with COVID-19 or COVID-19 symptoms leaves the premises immediately.
Noncompliance and failure to comply with staff instructions that pertain to the new COVID related safety requirements can result in membership being terminated.
