We welcome submissions for new clubs and societies.
To start a new club or society, we highly recommend you look through our Clubs and Societies Handbook.
Note that there must be a minimum of 15 members in Townsville and 10 in Cairns for a newly affiliated club or a club that has not been affiliated for 3 academic years.
A draft Constitution must also be submitted to the Clubs and Societies Committee for consideration. Draft copies are available in from Resources.
If the draft Constitution is deemed to be consistent with the Constitution and Regulations of the Student Association the group shall have an inaugural meeting to elect office bearers and accept the constitution.
Having done this, the club or society may apply to the Student Association for recognition as a club or society.
