The JCU Indigenous team are prepared and ready to go and compete at the 2019 UniSport Indigenous Nationals.
JCU are sending a team to Perth made up of students from both Townsville and Cairns campuses.
UniSport Indigenous Nationals is an annual event that has been running since 1996 where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander tertiary students from universities all across Australia compete in four core sports which are touch football, netball, basketball and volleyball.
In 2018 JCU finished 12th overall which included finishing 2nd in volleyball.
The team has been preparing for the last 2 months for this competition and look forward to showing the other universities what they have got.
