Clubs and Societies Grants

2026 Round 2 SSAF Grant Applications - Now Open

Round 2 of the 2026 SSAF Grant Applications are now open.

Funding is available to all JCUSA affiliated clubs & societies who have not applied for Round 1 SSAF grants.

Before applying, please ensure your club has:

  • Finalised its 2026 affiliation with JCUSA
  • There are no outstanding acquittals or compliance matters that would affect grant eligibility

Grant Applications will close at 12:00pm Friday 05/06 (extended from 11:59pm 03/06). Grant distribution for Trimester 2 will occur in the same fortnight.

Note that you can only apply for a maximum of $1500 for Round 2. Any Round 2 Applications exceeding this amount must be corrected prior to the above deadline otherwise they will not be accepted

SSAF Briefing Session

Note that the Briefing Session has been cancelled as the President is currently unwell and is unable to conduct the meeting.

In lieu of this meeting, the President will send out a resource sheet with all of the items that were to be discussed. This sheet will be communicated by email as well as posted on the JCUSA website - please check the Clubs & Societies Communication page for any updates. In case of any further queries or feedback you are more than welcome to contact us directly here

We apologise for any inconvenience.

A SSAF Briefing session will be held to clarify requirements and limitations regarding SSAF expenditure.

This session is open to all clubs and societies, regardless of affiliation status or grant application (clubs who have already completed their Round 1 Grant Application are more than welcome to attend).

This session will cover:

  • An explanation of SSAF Requirements and Limitations (for Clubs as well as JCUSA)
  • Common issues identified in grant applications and acquittals
  • Expectations around reporting and compliance
  • An opportunity to ask questions & seek feedback directly

Event Reporting Requirement

As part of receiving SSAF Grant Funding from JCUSA, all SSAF-funded events hosted by clubs will be subject to a post-event reporting requirement.

The post event report (attached below) must be submitted within 7 days of each SSAF-funded event. Note that this reporting is only required for any events utilising SSAF-funding, and does not apply to events funded through other means.

This report is a mandatory component of the acquittal process and must be completed promptly and comprehensively by all clubs where required.
