Winna Shield
Winna Shield is a year long inter-college sporting competition in Townsville for JCU residential college students. It comprises of 9 sports; and is the ultimate case for bragging rights on campus! Ultimate Disc is one of 9 sports held during the Winna Shield calendar with the event having a men’s and women’s competition.
The Ultimate Disc event will be held on Saturday and Sunday March 2 & 3.

Cairns
There are currently no programs on the Cairns Campus that include ultimate disc. We are continuing to grow sport and recreation on the Cairns Campus with plans to include ultimate disc.

Townsville
The current affiliated club at our Townsville Campus is Townsville Ultimate Disc. Townsville Ultimate Disc hold a variety of programs and competitions on campus throughout the entire year for both social and competitive competitions. Cairns

JCU Representation
Each year JCU sends teams to compete at UniSport Nationals. The UniSport Nationals provide an opportunity for students at 43 member universities from across Australia (including JCU) to compete head to head in a number of national standard sporting competitions. UniSport Nationals is the largest multi-sporting event held in Australia every year with its flagship event Nationals Div 1 and Div 2 hosting up to 10,000 students each year.
